Please note, this blog is for Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp all the same. Facebook has bought Instagram and WhatsApp, the policies are the same as the another companies. This blog will cover everything that a Facebook user shares with the Facebook platform intentionally or unintentionally.

3 names — 1 working

What will be collected?

They will collect:

- Contents (Communication, Uploads, Products what you are using)

- Metadata will also collected (GPS, Camera model, Date) of each file

- The Camera what you are using for live call, live video, live stream etc.. will also analyzed (Facebook do probably more than finding some filters for you)

  • The messages will also analyzed definitive.

Networks and Connections

Facebook collects what you’ve liked, posted, commented, hashtags etc.
If you synchronize your contacts, uploading files from you device, sms logs, call logs then it will also analyzed. (only if the app has the permission for your calls etc.)
At many devices Facebook or Messenger is pre-installed, you need maybe root for uninstalling it, because my old phone has it installed as System-App.

Your Usage

Your usage will analyzed:

- Types of content I look at(after clicking any url → Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp already does collects data if you click any link like #brands or something else — secret files )

- The time, frequency and duration of your activation (if you write a person more as 1 time it will showing the person at first)

Transactions

Information about the transaction, credit card details etc. (this must Facebook.)

Device information

They will collects information about:

- used computers
- used phones
- connected TV’s and other connected devices.

Through this they do personalization of the contents(within advertisements)

Device Attributes

A common list of things what the will collect about you:

- Operating System
- Hard- & Software information
- Battery count
- Amount of Storage
- Browser information
- App and Filenames

Processes on the device

The will tracks mouse movements(hovering, swapping over a picture), which windows are in fore and background etc.

Identifications

Instead of apple’s anonymization of clearly ID’s you will get here clearly ID. Everything what will trace back to you will used for the ID. (Phone Number, ID of games, apps or accounts what you have used for a connected facebook account).

Device Signals

They collecting:
Bluetooth-Signals, WLAN-Beacons and radio tower frequencies at your near.
Through this they can locate you, instead of GPS.
(They also tracks GPS)

Network and Connections

They’re tracking also this :
- Information about Mobile owner
- IP Address
- Nearly Devices

Cookies

Cookies will collected, they use it as Instagram and Facebook, at WhatsApp i am not sure, you can correct me if i am wrong.

Information of Partners

They are using Facebook Pixel, 1 pixel will used for tracking users. If you are using Facebook API’s then you can get information about the users which visited your website, and you give Facebook who was visiting your website.

The partners gets your data if you are visiting their services or using it.

If you installing Facebook messaging, and you have a relationship with a person at the same WiFi, then Facebook knows where you stay at night. If the other person stay at night where you staying then Facebook knows this as well. (WTF again)

Only Facebook uses face recognition not Instagram and whatsapp.

Now i will give you a quote from the Facebook:

“We use the information we have (including from research partners we collaborate with) to conduct and support research and innovation on topics of general social welfare, technological advancement, public interest, health and well-being. For example, we analyze information we have about migration patterns during crises to aid relief efforts. Learn more about our research programs.”

This means in simple words, they collect your information / data for all.
(They can do everything with your data)

They don’t sell it to everyone they will look for.
Facebook only sells your data for advertisements, and they don’t send personal data what can identify you.

Facebook must give police information about you if it’s required or if you did illegal things.
